Baby's tears (Soleirolia soleirolii) is a mat-forming tropical perennial with myriad tiny leaves. In warmer climates, it's grown outdoors as an evergreen ground cover or filler plant for rock gardens Foliage spreads quickly across the soil, making this shrub excellent for ground cover. It can also be grown in hanging planters. It grows rapidly and may need to be contained/bounded. A very low-maintenance plant. Pilea comes in different types. This one is dark green in color and is called 'Baby Tears' because of its delicate, petite, teardrop-shaped leaves.
